If you’re excited about beginning a career as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician and becoming an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, the Life in Flight program can work for you. EIC operators offer a comprehensive four-year training and apprenticeship program that provides the opportunity gain the mechanical skills and experience required to become an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer for an EIC air operator.
From the very beginning, you’ll have employment within the EIC family of companies, providing clarity on the direction of your future career development. As a member of the Life in Flight Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Apprenticeship Program, you’ll be employed full-time and will participate in a Transport Canada recognized training program to complete necessary technical requirements. As a member of the Life in Flight program, your EIC air operator will cover all outstanding academic and accommodation costs to ensure that your focus is where it needs to be: on your training.
No matter what your current role is, you’re eligible to apply to join the Life in Flight program and, if accepted, start building your career in Aircraft Maintenance. After four years of combined technical training and apprenticeship, you’ll continue employment with your EIC air operator and will be on your way to a rewarding career as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.
